The world's largest furniture meeting was held

The world's largest furniture exhibition, CNR IMOB-International Istanbul Furniture Fair, was held for the 16th time at CNR EXPO Istanbul Fair Center between 21-26 January 2020.

Organized by CNR Holding subsidiary, Istanbul Trade Fairs, with the cooperation of MOSFED (Turkish Furniture Industrialists Federation) and the support of KOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry Development Organization), CNR IMOB International Istanbul Furniture Fair will open its doors at CNR Expo Istanbul Expo Center between January 21-26, 2020 for the 16th time.

The exhibition will gather industry professionals from countries including China, the USA, Germany, Italy, India, Poland, the UK, Japan, France, Vietnam, Turkey, Brazil, Malaysia, Russia, Mexico, and South Africa. Displaying thousands of products of more than 750 companies, the exhibition will welcome over 150 thousand visitors, 50 thousand of whom are foreigners.  

Over 2-billion-dollar business volume is targeted
Anticipated greatly by the entire world, the exhibition will witness a broad participation this year as well thanks to the big data management system, BIA (Business Intelligence Agency), which has the data of 10 million exhibitors and visitors in 5 continents and 186 countries. When it is considered merely as a furniture exhibition, CNR IMOB, featured as the largest exhibition in the home furniture field worldwide for the square meter area as well as the number of exhibitors and visitors, will gather professional buyers and sellers under the same roof via B2B Matchmaking Program. The exhibition, which will be organized on the 160 thousand square meter area, aims to leave a mark in 2020 with over 2-billion-dollar business volume,
The VAT discount put the industry at ease 
The Turkish furniture industry, which has experienced anxious days due to the mobility in foreign currency and the price increase in raw materials, will be relieved after the VAT rates have been reduced to 8 percent again. Increasing the share from the global market day by day, the Turkish furniture industry will expand the export volume for 2020 to a 5-billion-dollar level with the contribution of CNR IMOB. The industry, which contributes to the improvement of 20 industries outside the Turkish industry with its 40 thousand manufacturers, the employment of 210 thousand people, and export transactions to 180 countries, will open doors to new markets.
